Before Street Food International, locals knew us as Street Food on Washington. At 90 Washington Road, chef and founder Ben and his family built a relaxed place to explore food from around the world.
Today, Ben, Bridget, family and a close crew welcome diners from across Nelson Tasman. Creative weekly specials, generous servings and friendly hospitality remain at the heart of what we do.

Our cooking takes inspiration from Thai wok dishes, Caribbean jerk and Mediterranean favourites. Pad Thai, souvlaki, jerk chicken, plantain chips and fusion comfort food have all been part of the journey.
